Casualty List For Men and Women From
Mobile and Baldwin Counties Who Lost Their Lives In World War II
Dedication

In Loving Memory

This work is dedicated not only to those gallant men and women from Mobile and Baldwin Counties who sacrificed their lives during World War II but also to their equally courageous families. They bravely carried on after their loved ones had made their supreme sacrifices. It is hoped that this work will memorialize them all forever in the collective hearts of a grateful nation.

Introduction

The following list is only a preliminary draft. It is drawn from the 1941 Mobile City Directory and Department of Defense records housed at the National Archives along with other sources and is not complete. There will be errors found and the compiler wishes to apologize for them in advance. It is hoped that readers will be kind enough to offer their advice and corrections wherever they are needed.
