Bob Glennon to sign "Alabama History on the Air!"

"Alabama History on the Air!" is a collection of recently uncovered original scripts of The Old Narrator, on Mobile's first radio station, WDOX. Compiled with commentary by Robert M. Glennon, these stories provided a lift to weary workers and the unemployed, during the depth of the Great Depression. While entertaining, "Alabama History on the Air!" gives us insight into life in Mobile in the 1930s. Mr. Glennon will give a brief talk at noon and be available to sign books, available in the Museum store, the Shop in the Southern Market. To reserve your copy, call 208-7653.
